\n…in their dreams they will see where I went / Natalie A. Chao [Personally Speaking 私物語] [Coffee Fantasia 咖啡經]
\n\n
they all get to come with me, my family
\n they get to pick an animal and ride on its back
\n and make a wish
But what if they can’t come?
\n then I will go and ask the unicorns for no more fighting
\n and peace
\n and everyone doesn’t fight with fists
\n they fight with words
\n like doctor king
\n and like the speech thingy like I have a dream speech.
\n I would keep dreaming
\n and keep on believing what you believe in
\n you don’t have to give up on hopes.
What if you want to come back? How could you?
\n I would ask the magic tree to open
\n a portal
\n and the next day there will be a portal
\n and I will go through it,
\n no one will know cause I went there at night
\n but it is day here
And then whenever I come back
\n I will go back to grandma’s room
\n and go to sleep
\n and act like nothing happened
\n but in their dreams
\n they will see where I went,
\n but they think it is not real.
What if you go to the unicorn land and it is not what you expected?
\n That is normally what happens.
\n I would stay there—
\n for a tiny bit
\n but then I would get scared and want my family
\n so I would go back
\n I would be sad maybe
\n maybe I would rent an airplane, no—
\n maybe the unicorn will make me
\n a portal…
