​謝俊昇個展《止於那端》是對兒時回憶的追尋，也是對家人生活習慣的觀察。藝術家搜尋老照片及記憶中孩提時期與爺爺同住的舊居樣貌，從舊居地板的瓷磚、盆栽及歌曲中抽取素材，拼湊出印象中對親人及舊居的點滴、梳理成長片段中對家庭的感覺與溫度。

​時間在名為成長的過程中推移，舊家、童年回憶及親人都逐漸變得模糊，藝術家的創作成為他給自己的一場私密儀式，回溯記憶中細軟的部分，溫柔地讓美好的細碎安放於心中的一隅，止於那端。

“Echoes Kept at Bay” is the artist's chasing of his childhood memory, also his observation of the family's daily habits. The artist searched for old photos that invoke memories of the old house where he lived with his grandfather. Tiles of the floor, potted plants, songs played in the old house and more are fragments of the artist's grow-up experience, which he pieces together, in reach out for the lost warmth and impressions of the family.

Memories fade as people push through time. Artistic creation becomes the artist's own private ceremony, in which he immerses himself in details, gentle and afloat, to anchor them in a fine spot in his mind.
